The terms on which MoveFree Therapy provides treatment and on which you may use this website and booking platform. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

MoveFree Therapy is a physiotherapy practice. These terms govern your use of our website, our online booking platform and the client portal, and they apply whether you book with an account or as a guest.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "MoveFree Therapy" mean MOVE FREE, registration number K2026288063, trading as MoveFree Therapy.

We provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment, and the software around it: booking, reminders, invoices, exercise programmes and clinical records.
We are not an emergency service. If you are seriously injured or unwell, contact your doctor or go to an emergency room — do not book an appointment and wait.
Physiotherapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or for advice from your doctor. Exercise programmes and written guidance we give you are prescribed for your condition, at a point in time, and are for your own use only. Stop and contact us if an exercise causes pain beyond what your practitioner described.
Treatment is delivered by qualified physiotherapists. Your practitioner will explain what they propose to do and why, and you may ask questions, decline any part of it, or stop a session at any time without giving a reason.
Clinical records of your treatment are kept for every session, as professional practice requires. What is in them, and how long they are kept, is set out in the privacy policy.
A booking you make online is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We review it and either approve it or offer you alternative times. The confirmation you receive is what fixes the date and time — not the request.
Booking as a guest gives you a private link to manage that appointment. Treat it like a password: anyone with the link can see and change the booking.
We may decline or cancel a booking — for example where the treatment requested is not clinically appropriate, or where a previous account has unpaid invoices. If we cancel, you are not charged.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
Please keep your contact details accurate. Reminders, confirmations and invoices go to the email address and phone number on your account, and we are not responsible for a missed appointment where those were out of date.
An account is for one person. If you book on behalf of somebody else — a child, a parent, a partner — you confirm you are entitled to share their information with us and to make decisions about their appointments.
Your intake form and what you tell your practitioner are what treatment is planned from. Please answer completely and accurately, and tell us when something changes — a new medication, a new injury, a pregnancy, a diagnosis.
Incomplete or inaccurate information can make treatment ineffective or unsafe, and we rely on what you tell us.
Prices for each service are shown before you confirm a booking, and pre-paid packages show their price, session count and validity period before you buy. Prices may change, but never for an appointment or a package you have already booked or bought.
Invoices are payable by the date on the invoice, by EFT or on the day. Package purchases are paid online through our payment provider — we never see or store your card details.
Where you claim from a medical aid, the account remains yours: you are responsible for paying it whether or not your scheme reimburses you, and whether or not it pays in full.
Appointments can be cancelled or moved free of charge up to 12 hours beforehand. Cancelling later than that, or not arriving, may be charged.
Three separate policies form part of these terms and set out the detail. Please read them — they say what happens to your money in every situation we could think of.
We send appointment confirmations, reminders, invoices and clinical correspondence by email, SMS and push notification. You choose which channels to use for which kind of message, in the portal, at any time.
A small number of messages cannot be turned off, because they are the transaction itself rather than marketing — a booking confirmation, a cancellation, an invoice. We do not send advertising.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe the platform is being misused. If you find a security problem, please tell us rather than exploiting it — we would much rather hear from you.
The site, the platform, and the exercise library and programmes within it belong to us or to our licensors. Your programme is licensed to you personally, for your own rehabilitation — please do not redistribute or resell it.
Your own clinical records and the information you give us remain yours. You can ask for a copy at any time.
We work to keep the platform available, but we cannot promise it is uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a failure at one of the providers it depends on.
If the platform is down, your appointment still stands. Phone or WhatsApp us — we are not a website first and a practice second.
Where we are liable to you for something arising out of your use of this platform, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in question.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost income or lost opportunity, for example — arising from the platform being unavailable or from a message failing to arrive.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Your rights under that Act and under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 are not affected by anything written here.
How we collect, use, share and protect your personal and health information is set out in full in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms — to reflect a change in the service, or in the law. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date it was last changed is shown at the top of this page.
Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you rather than relying on you noticing.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
If something has gone wrong, please raise it with us first — email corinne@movefree.club. Almost everything is resolved in one conversation. You may also refer a consumer complaint to the National Consumer Commission or an accredited consumer-goods ombud.
